These Terms of Service govern your use of ForgeBody. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they're written in plain English, not legalese.
ForgeBody is a fitness application operated by ForgeBody Pty Ltd ("ForgeBody", "we", "us", "our"), an Australian company. The app provides AI-powered workout programmes, coaching, nutrition guidance, progress tracking, and social features that let you train alongside others ("crews").
These Terms apply to all users of the ForgeBody app and website at forgebody.fit.
You must be at least 13 years old to use ForgeBody. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
To access ForgeBody's features, you need to create an account. You are responsible for:
You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from within the app, under Settings → Account & Privacy → Delete Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
ForgeBody offers auto-renewing subscription plans. Current pricing and any free-trial terms are always shown on the subscription screen inside the app before you purchase, and that in-app pricing prevails over any figure listed elsewhere.
Where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period, and cancelling before the trial ends avoids any charge. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, and your payment method is charged at the price shown for renewal.
All billing is handled by the Apple App Store. To manage or cancel, go to your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → ForgeBody. We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
ForgeBody also offers optional one-time purchases (such as Sparks, streak repairs, and cosmetic items). These are consumed within the app, are non-refundable except as required by law, and confer no real-world monetary value.
ForgeBody includes social features — public profiles, crews, activity feeds, shared workouts and photos, and (where available) messaging. There is zero tolerance for objectionable, abusive, or illegal content and for abusive behaviour toward other users.
You agree that you will not post, upload, share, or transmit content that:
We provide tools to keep the community safe. You can report any user or piece of content and block any user directly within the app. We review reports and will act on objectionable content — including removing it and ejecting the user who posted it — generally within 24 hours. By using ForgeBody's social features you agree to these standards; accounts that breach them may be suspended or terminated without notice or refund.
Where offered, new users are eligible for one free trial per Apple ID, giving full access to ForgeBody features. After the trial, your selected subscription begins automatically unless cancelled beforehand. Trial length and terms are shown on the subscription screen before purchase.
You agree to use ForgeBody only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn't infringe the rights of others. You must not:

ForgeBody Pty Ltd is not responsible for any injury, illness, or adverse health outcome resulting from the use of our app or following any programme, exercise, or nutritional guidance provided through the service.
ForgeBody uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to generate personalised training programmes and coaching responses. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your individual circumstances.
Always use your own judgement and consult a qualified professional for medical, nutritional, or injury-related concerns. The AI coach is not a substitute for a qualified personal trainer, doctor, or dietitian.
All content within ForgeBody — including the app design, workout content, text, graphics, logos, and AI-generated programmes — is owned by or licensed to ForgeBody Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any ForgeBody content without our written permission.
Your personal data (workouts logged, progress photos, personal records) belongs to you. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
If you submit content to ForgeBody (such as progress photos, a display name, custom workout names, or crew posts and messages), you retain ownership of that content. By submitting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and share it within the app solely for the purpose of providing the service (for example, showing your post to your crew).
You are solely responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it. You must not submit content that breaches our Community Standards in Section 5. We may remove any content, at any time, that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms.
We aim to keep ForgeBody available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally need to take the app offline for maintenance, updates, or to address security issues. We will try to give advance notice when possible.
We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.
We may add, modify, or remove features from ForgeBody at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of ForgeBody after changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
If we discontinue ForgeBody entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused subscription time on a pro-rata basis.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
Continued use of ForgeBody after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
