ForgeBody ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the ForgeBody mobile application.

By using ForgeBody, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — your email address and name when you create an account
• Fitness data — workouts completed, sets, reps, weights, and progress you log in the app
• Onboarding data — your fitness goals, training experience, and programme preferences
• Usage data — how you interact with the app, features used, and session duration
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version
• Apple Health data (optional) — if you grant permission, we may read or write workout data to Apple Health. This data is used solely to log your ForgeBody workouts to the Health app and is never shared with third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalise your training programme
• To track your progress and display personal bests
• To power the AI coaching features
• To send streak reminders and motivational notifications (if enabled)
• To improve the app and fix bugs
• To process your subscription via Apple's in-app purchase system

3. Apple Health (HealthKit)

ForgeBody may request access to Apple Health to log completed workouts. This integration is entirely optional. If you grant access:

• We write completed workout sessions (type, duration, calories) to Apple Health
• We may read heart rate and activity data to enhance your recovery recommendations
• Your health data is never sold or shared with third parties
• You can revoke access at any time via iPhone Settings → Privacy → Health → ForgeBody

ForgeBody does not use HealthKit data for advertising or data mining purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant cloud database. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Workout data and preferences are also stored locally on your device.

5. Subscription & Payments

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. ForgeBody never sees or stores your payment card details. Subscription management, cancellations, and refunds are handled through your Apple ID in the App Store settings.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Supabase — our secure database provider
• Anthropic — to power AI coaching features (your messages are processed but not stored for training)
• Apple — for authentication and payment processing

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@forgebody.fit. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

ForgeBody is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Data portability

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of ForgeBody after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
